Sans arme, ni haine ni violence, comme toujours, les Hommen ont mené une opération symbolique à Paris pour protester contre l'entêtement d'un Gouvernement autiste qui tente de passer en force en imposant une loi inique dont les Français ne veulent pas. Pacifiques mais déterminés, plus d'une trentaine d'Hommen ont ainsi bloqué la rue de Rivoli pendant plus de 20 minutes, jusqu'à l'arrivée massive des forces de l'ordre.
Bravo à cette belle jeunesse française qui entre en résistance et porte l'espérance de tout un peuple à bout.

Le cardinal Jean-Claude Turcotte est attendu à Rome, où il participera au conclave qui désignera un successeur au pape Benoît XVI, qui quitte ses fonctions le 27 février.
Avant de quitter Montréal, Mgr Turcotte a donné une entrevue à la journaliste Anne-Marie Dussault. Il a indiqué que l'Église a une obligation de transparence dans les affaires d'agressions sexuelles et il estime que les deux cardinaux américains qui ont tenté d'étouffer des scandales sexuels, peuvent voter pour choisir leur pape.
Au chapitre du mariage entre conjoints de même sexe, le cardinal Turcotte estime que le problème est « que cela peut devenir une famille. »

The only goal of the Carthusian way is CONTEMPLATION in Christ, by the power of the Spirit, living as unceasingly as possible in the light of the love of God for us, made manifest in Christ.
This implies a purity of heart, or charity : « Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. » (Mt 5:8)
Monastic tradition also calls this goal pure and continuous prayer.
