English Bishop Bans "Pride" Celebrations in Catholic Schools

The Bishop of Nottingham, Monsignor Patrick McKinney, issued a 40-page document entitled "Precious in My Sight" (below) in May, banning Catholic schools in his diocese from promoting homosexual propaganda ("gay pride").
The new guidelines also crack down on the promotion of gender ideology. Teachers are told not to celebrate homosexual sins in June because "we cannot celebrate lifestyles that are incompatible with Church teaching".
Monsignor McKinney explains that "approving only part of could be seen as dishonest and lead to confusion. We must instead seek to articulate those values and principles with which we can agree and affirm Catholic teaching in a different, distinct and pastorally positive way".
The policy also prohibits children who suffer from gender insecurity from using a self-chosen pronoun, name, uniform, access to changing rooms, showers and toilets.

Born in Florence in 1515, St. Philip dedicated himself to serving the Lord, guided by a mystical experience that led him to Rome at the age of eighteen.
In Rome, St. Philip's zeal for evangelization and his deep prayer life set him apart. He reached out to people from all walks of life, sharing the love of God and challenging them to live lives of virtue. Despite the challenges and corruptions within the Church during his time, St. Philip remained steadfast, founding the Congregation of the Oratory and earning the title "Apostle of Rome."

The World, of which the divine Scriptures speak with horror, is not the Universe, the elements, the earth, nor a civil society of people in the different states and conditions that meet there. It is not of this world of which the Son of God assures that he is not, nor his Disciples; but it is the world which lives according to sensuality, pride and curiosity: it is of this world of which the Holy Spirit declares to us in the first Epistle of Saint John, that everything that is found there is , or lust of the flesh, or lust of the eyes, or pride of life; that which does not come from the Father, says the holy Evangelist, because the corrupt inclinations of the body and the soul which lead us to use things improperly, do not come from God; it is sin that is the cause.
By these three concupiscences the beloved Disciple understands the three sources of all sins, which according to the doctrine of the Saints, are the pleasures of the senses, the desire for honors, and the curiosity for …More

The Holy Spirit passes in hearts and between people. The Church is moving when its members become fervent. The Church is growing and the Holy Spirit is helping to multiply its members. John writes in his first letter:
“Children, let us love not in word or speech but in deed and truth.” 1 John, chapter 3, verse 18
What seems most difficult in the mission is to mention what is needed at the appropriate time or for the appropriate activity, meeting. It is about being in the best disposition of ourselves and knowing the one we’re talking about, in truth. Are we really talking about God?
Even though sometimes the deeds and words are not always in accord with the Gospels, since we are not perfect, let’s continue to improve our relationship with people. And if we succeed, may we remember that we have done only what we could.

QUESTION 42 — EQUALITY AND SIMILITUDE BETWEEN DIVINE PERSONS
1. Is there reason to speak of equality between divine Persons?
2. Is the person who proceeds equal in eternity to the person from whom he proceeds?
3. Is there an order between the divine Persons?
4. Are the divine Persons equal in greatness?
5. Are they inside each other?
6. Are they equal in power?
Article 1 — Is there reason to speak of equality between the divine Persons? Objections: 1.
Who says equality, says identical quantity on both sides, according to Aristotle. Now there is no quantity among the divine Persons. No continuous quantity, first: nor intrinsic, or magnitude; nor extrinsic: place or time. Nor is it the discrete quantity, or number, that will give rise to an equality here, because two people are more than one. Therefore, no equality between the divine Persons. 2 . It has already been said: the divine Persons are of unique essence. And we thus signify the essence as a form. However, having the same shape …More
