Blížili sa Vianoce a sviatok Narodenia Božieho dieťaťa...V ženskom kláštore v horách sa mníšky chystali na Vianoce.Zo vzdialeného mesta k nim dochádzal starší kňaz slúžievať omše a spovedať mníšky.Žilo ich tam len 10,z toho jedna už ležala chorá na posteli a dve boli staré o paličkách.Kláštor si v tých dobách musel vystačiť sám s jedlom a kúrením.Mníšky chovali statok,kury a chodili im pomáhať ľudia z osád.Blížil sa sviatok Narodenia Pána a mníšky čakali na ich kňaza,ktorý mal prísť slúžiť sv. omšu a mníšky spovedať.Ale nechodil...čakali a nič.Bola krutá zima,snehom boli zafúkané cesty a ešte aj zbojníci často prepadávali cestujúcich.
