‘I feel safer in RUSSIA than in France’ | FRENCH lady Gabrielle Duvoisin
Meet Gabrielle Duvoisin a young and beautiful French lady who has been living in Russia for over a year. She was born in Paris, grew up in the French province, studied in Sweden, and chose Russia for her life. When she was 21, she was offered options for a student trip during the holidays: to go to snowy Lapland or to Russia. Gabrielle chose the second option. Those few days in St. Petersburg determined her future life, ‘It was love at first sight. And I wanted to go back to Russia and learn Russian language.’
Gabrielle is a young scientist, a biologist, who works at the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology. It is the largest innovation center in Russia, located in Moscow. She is a biotechnology engineer. Gabrielle is struck by the large number of fashionably dressed girls on the streets of Moscow, unlike Paris.
French women, according to Gabrielle, have less refined taste, ‘don't expect her to wear high heels or a dress and everything. She will probably be less feminine than Russian girls.’ The biggest advantage of living in Russia for Gabrielle is safety. She is not afraid to walk the streets at night or take night trains, fearing attacks, as was the case in France.
In this video, Gabrielle debunked the most common stereotype about the French: the girl had never eaten frogs in her life. Check out this video about a Frenchwoman who moved to Russia and fell in love with Russia with all her heart .
