Faustina Kowalska’s unbelievable hubris

The Mother of God at Fatima spoke of the coming punishments, the signs foreshadowing them. And so it happened – World War II came. However, just before it, in 1937, St. Faustina foretells a time of mercy and exaltation for Poland. The opposite of Heaven is Hell, so she was talking about one thing, and something quite the opposite came. Besides, with these arguments of hers about mercy, she contradicted the words of the Blessed Virgin Mary at Fatima, who spoke of punishments, and therefore of justice.

The unbelievable hubris that can be seen in her led her to a situation where she accepted everything her mind told her as coming from God:

“...tell the Superior General, let her count on you as the most faithful daughter in the Order…” (Acts 1130)

God does not confirm anyone in pride – this is probably clear. And these words, as well as others she wrote down in the Diary, are intended to make Faustina feel special. A normal priest is able to tell this right away.

As even followers of Felix Kozlowska claim. who was cursed by the Church by name, her successor is Faustina. And she is a perfect reflection of the sewage of all heresies, namely modernism.

There are criticisms of the Divine Mercy Devotion from several people on this thread, but as usual, you zoom in on me, and only me. Why not complain about what they say? Please just get on with your necromancy Bob Marley: One Love's new trailer and false apparitions and leave me alone. I don't want to have any communication with you. As I stated, I blocked you because of your behaviour on another thread, and then you blocked me, so why do you keep trolling me? I can only assume it is because you are infested with evil, which I have suspected ever since you told me you commune with dead spirits.

@English Catholic - I have just read all the comments and you are correct - @Maria delos Angeles has ignored everyone else who objects to the DMD and singles you out but wait - her interest in not in the spiritual after all, but politics. Note her comment about Boris Johnson.

@Patricia McKeever What shocked me more was her astounding presumption that her prayer '3 times a day' lost a politician his job. Would that it were so easy . . . there wouldn't be an MP in the House. But this is the consequence of delusion, I'm afraid.

i have personal proof of the truth of this Devotion. @English Catholic what you mean by saying it is verbal prayer? Does that mean it has no theological content? I undertook to pray, for example, the Chaplet of Divine Mercy x3 per day for a period of time for Boris Johnson when i was shown his heart had turned, kind of done a flip - and was not for the interests of the people, and, lo, a short time …More

I undertook to pray, for example, the Chaplet of Divine Mercy x3 per day for a period of time for Boris Johnson when i was shown his heart had turned, kind of done a flip - and was not for the interests of the people, and, lo, a short time later he was fired by his own party. He had been working to block peace between Ukraine and Russia behind the scenes apparently. And the rest. He is an apostate. Talk about a fall from grace.

It’s interesting that, traditionally today’s gospel is the story of doubting Thomas, to whom Our Lord showed his wounds, whereas in this previously condemned conciliar devotion, Our Lord allegedly shows Himself with no wounds (which are His glory). The theological implications are rather serious.

The main problem I have with this devotion is twofold. Many people I know no longer pray the Rosary daily; instead they are praying the Divine Mercy prayers. The other problem I have witnessed is this seems to take away devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

@Father Karl A Claver Exactly. The Rosary is body and soul - verbal prayer and meditation on the mysteries - the meditation being the most important part. The Divine Mercy Chaplet is just verbal prayer. The best way to get people back to the Sacred Heart devotion? The definitive book is this one:- The Devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus by Fr John Croiset: "THE book on devotion to the Sacred Heart …More

The definitive book is this one:- The Devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus by Fr John Croiset: "THE book on devotion to the Sacred Heart! Commissioned by Our Lord Himself through St. Margaret Mary and received, through her, His endorsement. Responsible for the early, rapid spread of the Sacred Heart devotion. Contains the Saint's life, her prayers to the Sacred Heart, the Sacred Heart Promises (far more than the famous "12 Promises"), and much, much more! Great! Imprimatur".

There are 50 or so main problems with Faustina.
To begin with her name...
"Faust" and the adjective "Faustian" imply sacrificing spiritual values for power, knowledge, or material gain and / or making a risky bargain with seemingly good intentions that goes terribly wrong...More

@Father Karl A Claver - You've captured it Father. We are not required to believe in personal revelations. The Divine Mercy devotion is akin to the addition of the Luminous mysteries of the rosary.

@English Catholic - thanks to your recommendation of Fr Croiset's book on the Sacred Heart previously, I purchased a copy and so can endorse your recommendation, 100%. My niece is now reading it and loves it. Thank you!

Unanswered Questions & Things You May Not Know' Worth a read. I have been horrified at the ancient English shrines that have more or less been taken over by this devotion - two come to mind - the National Shrine of Our Lady in Walsingham. In the main part of the basilica, last time I went there, was a huge picture of the Divine Mercy image which swamped everything else. Also at the ancient Ladyewell Shrine in Preston, a Divine Mercy statue has been erected: ladyewellshrine.co.uk/…ent/uploads/2016/06/WhatsApp-Image-20160628-1.jpeg A lot of this is because of the massive influx of Polish immigrants to England, but even so. Have these people ever read her diary and the delusional errors in it?

Likewise at the Saint Frances Cabrini shrine in Golden, Colorado. Even though she is the Foundress of the Institute of the Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, I've been told that there is not a single image of the Sacred Heart to be seen, but Divine Mercy pictures are plastered everywhere.
Saint Mother Cabrini pray for us!
