Oooooh! I see. Thanks for the clarification mate! wow! Father's 54 years a priest.... that is truely a gift. But one can see that the steps would present somewhat of an insurmountable problem for him.

This Priest uses the lower altar because of the stairs on the high altar. He celebrated his 54th year of ordination this past August 15.

Fabulous!! Thanks.... Just one question: One is not quite convinced of the double altar, is it that this smaller altar (probably installed in the 70s) is not easily removed in order to use the old High Altar, or is it that the Bishop has seen it fit not to have the smaller altar removed?
