A wonderful actress. I have the movie "Francis of Assisi" on dvd. Probably the MOST authentic and accurate depiction of BOTH Saints Francis and Clare ever made (1961). Even Pope John XXIII thought so. When the cast of "Francis of Assisi" was recieved in audience at the Vatican in 1961 prior to the opening of the movie in Italy, Pope John spoke with each cast member, and when he came to Dolores Hart (He had already seen the movie in a special screening), he exclaimed in Italian "You ARE Clare!!!" Shortly after, she entered the Benedictine monastery in Ct., and professed solemn final vows in 1970. She must be in her 80's now. Her monastery has always been orthodox and faithful. And it is one of the very few cloistered monasteries of specifically Benedictine nuns in the USA, with close to 40 nuns. God bless Mother Dolores Hart!
