The SSPX Declaration of Catholic Faith Addressed to Pope Leo XIV

The SSPX (Society of St. Pius X) has sent a Declaration of Catholic Faith addressed to Pope Leo XIV here it is
Declaration of Catholic Faith Addressed to Pope Leo XIV
Declaration of Catholic Faith addressed to His Holiness Pope Leo XIV by Fr. Davide Pagliarani Superior General of the Priestly Society of Saint Pius X
Most Holy Father,
For more than fifty years, the Society of Saint Pius X has endeavoured to set before the Holy See a matter of conscience in the face of the errors that are destroying Catholic faith and morals. Regrettably, all the discussions entered into have remained without result, and none of the concerns expressed have received any truly satisfactory response.
For more than fifty years, the only solution truly considered by the Holy See has appeared to be that of canonical sanctions. To our great regret, it seems to us that canon law is thus being used, not to confirm in the Faith, but to lead away from it.
In the text that follows, the Society of Saint Pius X is glad …More

Acts 18:23-28
“Apollos had been instructed in the Way of the Lord and, with ardent spirit, spoke and taught accurately about Jesus.”
At this moment, Christ is also instructing us for the people around us.

God loves us. Let us welcome his love; the joy of a child and peace within us.

Is It Time For Von Der Leyen To Go?

Via Remix News,
Amidst continued fears regarding Putin attacking beyond Ukraine and economic uncertainty caused by the continued closure of the Strait of Hormuz, Brussels is reportedly beginning to grumble, i.e., look for someone to blame and remove.
Now, according to a report by Finnish public service media Yle, cited by Világgazdaság, voices are growing to remove the president of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen.
Several European leaders, as well as NATO officials, have long warned that Moscow may potentially attack NATO states, which is why there has been a continued push for support for Ukraine to prevail in its war with Russia.
In the event of such a scenario, where Putin looks to further his ambitions and attack inside NATO, rapid and effective cooperation between European countries will be crucial, which is why, according to this recent report, some are wondering if von der Leyen is the right person for the job.
One name that has been put forth for “European war …

Why did they choose Cardinal Burke to lead the prayers at the Chartres Pilgrimage ?

Why did they choose Cardinal Burke to lead the prayers at the Chartres Pilgrimage ?
Cardinal Burke has generally been politically correct with the Left, on the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus with no known exceptions. He does not affirm it in public. He also interprets Vatican Council II irrationally and not rationally and so is politically correct on this point too. The Athanasius Creed has exception for him even though it did not have exceptions for the Magisterium over the centuries.
The young people participating in the Chartres pilgrimage do not know the Catholic faith and the cardinal prudently is not going to tell them about it.- Lionel Andrades

No Scandal - Iranian Ambassador Received Routine Vatican Medal

The Vatican’s decision to award the Grand Cross of the Order of Pius IX to Mohammad Hossein Mokhtari - Iran’s ambassador to the Holy See - has sparked controversy.
Mokhtari has served as ambassador since 2023 and received the decoration on Tuesday together with twelve other diplomats.
Iranian state-linked media portrayed the award as a personal recognition by Leo XIV and linked it to the Pope’s criticism of military escalation against Iran.
The Vatican, however, stressed that the decoration was part of a routine diplomatic custom. Vatican spokesman Matteo Bruni said that the Order of Pius IX is traditionally granted to all ambassadors accredited to the Holy See after roughly two years of service.
The medal was not personally handed over by Leo XIV, but by Archbishop Paolo Rudelli of the Secretariat of State. The diploma was signed by Cardinal Secretary of State Pietro Parolin.

On the day our oil-stained president returned to the White House, he began an all-out assault on clean energy. Today, 16 months later, he and his party are paying a significant political price while American consumers are stuck with the bill.
That bill, according to one scholarly estimate, totals $1,508 per household since President Trump took office for the second time (in after-tax dollars). And as the president does not need reminding, that’s with the congressional elections six months away and the cost of living the voters’ top concern.
As if that were not enough, these same voters, when they fill up their cars, are confronting the costs of Trump’s choice to go to war with Iran, at a national average of $4.52 a gallon — that’s $90.40 for a 20-…More

New York times been doing that for decades

Tuesday, May 13th, 1913, Mother Thinks Police Are Doing Their Best
Mrs. J. W. Coleman, mother of fourteen-year-old Mary Phagan, rose from her grief on Tuesday for the first time in sixteen days and returned to her household duties, resigned to the tragedy that has shattered her home and trusting in the law to bring justice for her daughter's death.
"It was such a beautiful morning," she told a Georgian reporter, "And I have been able to rest now for three nights, so I felt like doing my work again. My house has been in such a turmoil since this dreadful tragedy. I feel helpless, and I have resigned myself to the sad lot that has befallen us. All we can do is wait, and waiting is a hard task."
No Complaint of Police
Mrs. Coleman was careful to make clear she holds no grievance against the officers handling the investigation.
"Don't misunderstand me. I am not complaining about what the officers are doing. It is far better to go slow and be sure we are doing right than to hurry and make a …More

Bishop Varden on hope, AI, patience — and not weaponizing Christianity
BALTIMORE (OSV News) — During his May 7 visit to St. Mary’s Seminary in Baltimore, Bishop Erik Varden of Trondheim, Norway, a member of the Trappist monastic order, sat down with OSV News to share his insights on Christian hope, the dangers of AI and weaponizing the Christian faith, and the need for patience in the spiritual life.

Noruega: Mons.

Bishop Varden on hope, AI, patience - and not …
This interview has been edited for length and clarity.
OSV News: You provided the reflections for the Lenten Spiritual Exercises in the Vatican for Pope Leo XIV and others, and in your final reflection, you focused on the theme of communicating hope. In the U.S. there’s been a real interest in Nordic noir films and books — often bleak and morally ambiguous — and a perception that Nordic culture is broadly the same. Do you find any irony in a Nordic bishop focusing on hope?
Bishop Varden: Well, your question makes me smile, because I’ve lived in a number of different countries, mainly in Europe, and I find that the more you move south in Europe, the more people have extravagant notions of the North, and the more they assume that it is an area of the world plunged in perpetual darkness, where everyone is given to drink and excess, and where everyone is on antidepressants, and where people keep killing themselves with axes.
And it isn’t …

Tucho places loyalty to Prevost above Christ

Tucho toys with the dogma of the papacy—not to defend the faith against heresy, but so that others may join Prevost's rebellion against God.and against the Church.
Thus, for these apostates—who promote the heresy of religious indifferentism—Christ is not necessary for salvation, but Prevost is.
According to this servant of the devil, sodomy no longer constitutes an offense against God, but rather the failure to join the promoter of sodomy: Robert Prevost.

CIA whistleblower: Fauci, intelligence agencies covered up COVID lab origins - LifeSite

(
LifeSiteNews) — A CIA whistleblower testified before the U.S. Senate that despite CIA scientific analysts’ repeated conclusions that a laboratory leak was the most likely origin of COVID-19, those conclusions were buried, softened, or withheld from Congress while the public was told to trust a different story.
Speaking to the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee on Wednesday morning, current senior CIA operations officer James Erdmann III provided shocking testimony alleging that the nation’s top intelligence agencies collaborated in promoting a false narrative concerning the origins of COVID-19 and that Dr. Anthony Fauci was at the heart of the coverup.
“Intentional or not, the Intelligence Community’s actions resulted in coverup, wasted resources, and a failure to properly inform policymakers,” said Erdmann. “Public health policy would have been very different had the American public been made …

No mention here of biolabs in Ukraine or the Obama transplanted program from UNC to Wuhan to frame China. No mention of origins in the Department of Defense, the same department that wanted war with Iran. Iran did not work out as hoped? Then bring on a new plandemic. This Is the Sickest Sh*t I Have Ever Seen.

I have been staring at the above photograph for an hour. Two frames, stacked. On top, a city. Not a metaphor, not a symbol, not a dateline in a newspaper…. But a city. White buildings catching the Mediterranean light. Streets arranged in the patient geometry of four thousand years of continuous human habitation. Balconies where somebody hung laundry that morning. Windows behind which somebody was making coffee, or arguing with a teenager, or lying in bed a little longer than they should have. A city, which is to say, a miracle, which is to say, the particular and unrepeatable result of a hundred generations of people deciding, each day, to keep going.
Below it, the same frame. The same coordinates. The same angle. And nothing. Not ruins — ruins are romantic, ruins have arches and columns and the dignity of time. This is not ruins. This is powder. This is absolute, unadulterated depravity. This is the city passed through a grinder and spat back out as a grey, undifferentiated field of …

We see here a glimpse of the savagery that was Before Christ (B.C.). An era with subhuman values that could conceive of crucifixion as a form of capital punishment. The exception in the era B.C. were the people of Israel who can be best understood the apostolic church B.C with sacramental analogues (see 2 Samuel 12:13 for confession, Elisha’s miracle in 2 Kings 4:42–44 for communion) without the universal aspect (the meaning of Catholic). In the Anno Domini era (A.D.) the Universal/Catholic Church took hold.

Prince of this world time is short (never promise you a rose garden great song)

"God performs this last act of love without the co-operation of man ; for there are so many secret imperfections within the soul, that the sight of them would drive it to despair. These are, however, all destroyed during the process I have described ; and when they are consumed, God shows them to the soul, that it may understand that it was He who kindled that fire of love which consumes every imperfection there is to be consumed."

Chapter X ~ HOW GOD MAKES USE OF PURGATORY TO RENDER THE SOUL PERFECTLY PURE THE SOUL THERE ATTAINS SUCH PURITY, THAT WERE IT TO STAY AFTER BEING CLEANSED IT WOULD NO LONGER SUFFER
AGAIN, I see that the love of God directs towards the soul certain burning rays
and shafts of light, which seem penetrating and powerful enough to annihilate not merely the body, but, were it possible, the very soul itself. These work in two ways ; they purify, and they annihilate.
Look at gold : the more it is melted, the better it becomes ; and it could be melted so as to destroy every single defect. Such is the action of fire on material things.
Now the soul cannot be annihilated so far as it is in God, but only in itself ; and the more it is purified, so much the more it annihilates self, till at last it becomes quite pure and rests in God. Gold which has been …More

Fire of God's Love:
"In like manner the Divine fire acts on souls: God holds them in the furnace until every defect has been burnt away, and He has brought them, each in his own degree, to a certain standard of perfection. Thus purified, they rest in God without any alloy of self: their very being is God ; they become impassible because there is nothing left to be consumed. And if in this state of purity they were kept in the fire, they would feel no pain ; rather it would be to them a fire of Divine Love, burning on without opposition, like the fire of life eternal."

Thursday, May 14 - Ascension of the Lord - Solemnity
Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Matthew 28,16-20.
The eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had ordered them.
When they saw him, they worshiped, but they doubted.
Then Jesus approached and said to them, "All power in heaven and on earth has been given to me.
Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the holy Spirit,
teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, until the end of the age."

Feast of the Ascension of Our Lord (Thursday)
breski1 May 21, 2010 The fortieth day after Easter Sunday, commemorating the Ascension of Christ into heaven, according to Mark 16:19, Luke 24:51, and Acts 1:2.
In the Eastern Church this feast was known as analepsis, the taking up, and also as the episozomene, the salvation, denoting that by ascending into His glory Christ completed the work of our redemption. The terms used in the West, ascensio and, occasionally, ascensa, signify that Christ was raised up by His own powers. Tradition designates Mount Olivet near Bethany as the place where Christ left the earth. The feast falls on Thursday. It is one of the Ecumenical feasts ranking with the feasts of the Passion, of Easter and of Pentecost among the most solemn in the calendar, has a vigil and, since the fifteenth century, an octave which is set apart for a novena of preparation for Pentecost, in accordance with the directions of Leo XIII.
