End of an Era: Jesuits Withdraw from Murcia: The Society of Jesus has closed its last remaining community in Murcia, Spain, ending its resident presence in the Diocese of Cartagena. Jesuit Provincial Fr. Enric Puiggròs said the closure is part of a "restructuring" driven by a lack of vocations and the aging of the order's members. The Jesuits' presence in Murcia goes back to the 16th century, shortly after the founding of the Society of Jesus in 1540.

The last Jesuits of the Region bid farewell as they close their Santo Domingo community in Murcia due to 'the scarce vocations and our unavoidable aging'

St. Vincent Ferrer ~ A001- Dominica I Adventis Domini Sermo 1

The seasonal winter sermons of the preacher and proclaimer of the divine Word, interpreter of sacred scripture and most subtle professor, Saint Vincent, confessor of Valencia, of the Order of Preachers, happily begin.

"And pride is the foundation of all sins. V.g. Why is someone avaricious? It is from pride, because he does not wish to obey the precept of God saying, "You should not lust," or "not commit thefts" etc. Why is someone lustful? Is it not from pride, because he does not wish to obey the precept, "You shall not commit fornication?" Same for gluttony and the other sins. Authority: "Pride is the beginning of all sin," (Sir 10:15). Therefore Christ comes in great humility to reform us, like a servant in administering to us the works of redemption through human incarnation."

Homosexual UK Couple Convicted of Murdering and Abusing Adopted Toddler

A former teacher and his homosexual partner, a financial sales manager, have been convicted at Preston Crown Court, Lancashire, of murdering and sexually abusing a toddler they were in the process of adopting.
Jamie Varley, 37, was found guilty of murder, two counts of assault by penetration, multiple counts of child cruelty, grievous bodily harm, and offences involving indecent images.
John McGowan-Fazakerley, 32, was convicted of causing or allowing the death of a child, child cruelty, and sexual assault.
The victim was born on June 16, 2022, at Wythenshawe Hospital in Greater Manchester. Five days later, social services placed him with foster carers under an emergency order. His mother had a long criminal record, including a murder conviction in 1998.
Varley and McGowan-Fazakerley were approved as prospective adopters in January 2023, and the boy moved into their home in April 2023.
Prosecutors said the child was subjected to sustained abuse almost immediately after his placement. …थप

Masses Denied at Multiple Italian Shrines for FSSP

Rorate-Caeli.blogspot.com published on June 16 a report about a recent pilgrimage in Italy with a priest of the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Peter (FSSP).
- This group was denied the celebration of Mass at the Shrine of San Giovanni Rotondo (Padre Pio) and instead celebrated Mass in a hotel basement.
- At the Basilica in Assisi, they were also denied permission to celebrate Mass in Latin, and they noted that an Orthodox Divine Liturgy was taking place at the same time.
- At Loreto, the group was initially denied permission to celebrate Mass, but the priest was finally able to convince the local authorities. However, in Loreto, there was a station for 'Dialogue and Listening' (pictured). Rather than a priest, a nun was 'listening' without a veil and wearing some kind of Roman collar.

My Interview with a Hypocrite : Pastor Jackson Lahmeyer
Ladies Love Politics
I conducted this interview a year ago. At the time, Pastor Jackson Lahmeyer was promoting his book. I found my time with Pastor Lahmeyer unsettling. He was twisting scripture and using the bible to push a political agenda. Not wanting to give credence to such a person, I chose to not publish the interview. This Sunday, I read that he was caught texting another woman, clubbing, going to see strippers, and professing his love for his mistress. If you’d like to hear what a phoney, hypocritical pastor sounds like on the eve of becoming a man whore, then listen to this interview. Pastor Jackson Lahmeyer leads Sheridan Church in Tulsa Oklahoma. He founded Pastors for Trump and joined President. Trump's White Hose Faith Council. He's currently running for Congress, hoping to secure the Republican nomination for Oklahoma's 1st District. However, on the eve of Republican primary, a scandal erupted. Leaked text messages …थप

Leo XIV Against Remigration of Migrants: Asked about “remigration” of immigrants, Pope Leo XIV replied on Tuesday in Castel Gandolfo: “Simply saying, ‘We send them away, and then the problem is off our hands,’ does not seem to me to be the most Christian response.” He said migrants should be respected as persons, their reasons for leaving considered, and their cases examined individually.

Protestant Prayer and the Catholic Mass as “Different Pathways to God”: “Catholic” U.S. Vice President JD Vance appeared to relativize the Catholic Church and the Eucharist during a June 16 interview on Fox & Friends. Speaking about what he called the strength of “the American church,” Vance emphasized the diversity of [contradicting] Christian denominations: “You can't be an American Catholic or an American Pentecostal or an American Southern Baptist without running into someone who has a slightly different perspective on faith.” He added: “It's all about Jesus.” Vance sees "different ways" by which people find God: “Different ways, sometimes with 'snake handlers' [evangelicals in Kentucky], sometimes with speaking in tongues, sometimes with a beautiful Catholic mass, but I think all these pathways really matter and they're part of the reason why we do find our path to God.”

JD Vance: "One of the things I love about the American church is there are all of these different pathways to God ... sometimes with snake handlers, sometimes with speaking in tongues, sometimes with a beautiful Catholic mass. But I think all of these pathways really matter."

How sickening and so very sad. Another branch of Christianity? All these different pathways? There is only one Christian Faith. The Catholic Faith. What is wrong with his mother?
Every protestant cult, and it's said there are about 100,000 of them, have a different Christ with their teachings. Then each person within those 100,000 cults also has their own Christ. Taking what they want and changing and denying what they don't want. Many take one thing from one of their cults, another from another cult and so on.
They are all scattered and confused. Nothing but demonic chaos. My nephew last year told me 5 new protestant buildings went up on his block alone!

Consistory Run Like the Synod: Only two hours are reserved for open interventions during the Consistory on 26–27 June. The majority of the meeting is structured around small-group discussions. The cardinals are divided into 20 groups, each of which prepares a written report. Only nine groups are scheduled to present their reports in the plenary session. Discussion of the Just War doctrine was anticipated based on earlier Vatican communications, but it is absent from the final agenda. Cardinals can communicate directly with Leo XIV via an email address provided for this purpose.

Telegram Founder: UK Social Media Ban Is Digital Iceberg About To SINK The Free Internet - modernity

Telegram founder Pavel Durov told the Freedom Forum audience in Oslo that Western societies have already struck the iceberg and started sinking — yet most citizens remain in their cabins, convinced the ship of personal freedoms is unsinkable.
His remarks arrive precisely as Keir Starmer’s government rams through a social media ban for under-16s that functions as the perfect pretext for mandatory digital ID, device-level scanning on every phone, and the practical elimination of anonymous speech online.
The policy is dressed in the familiar language of child protection. In practice it requires every major platform to verify ages with facial scans, passports or credit card data. What starts as a restriction on minors rapidly becomes a national system of internet passports.
Encrypted messaging apps currently sit outside the ban, but the same Online Safety Act framework already contains the levers to demand backdoors later. Tech executives who refuse to turn every smartphone into a government …

Leo XIV to the FSSPX: "Do Not Do This": On Tuesday evening in Castel Gandolfo, Pope Leo XIV was asked about the the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X (FSSPX). He replied: "We have invited them, and I am still considering making another appeal, saying: 'Do not do this. Let us try to live in communion within the Church.' But it is their choice. One must realize what it means for them and for the Church. Certainly, division among Christians is always something painful. However, they refuse to accept certain fundamental elements of the Church, beginning with several points of the Second Vatican Council. If they make that choice, I am sorry, but we must move forward."

I am taking a deep interest in the Polish question and I think the reader should too.
It is quite true that for many religious, historical, ethnic, and geographical reasons Poland of itself merits special respect and affection from all Catholics.
Consequently, current events there should attract everyone’s attention. But at the present we are led to that conclusion by reasons of an even greater import.
For the world, the events in Poland are constituted as a sign of the future. If the unique relationship, which a newspaper has called “the Polish triangle,” between the Warsaw government, the episcopate, and the coalition of workers’ organizations labeled “Solidarity” is successful, then something in communism has changed.
Or something has changed in the Church, and therefore, in the world. Something, indeed, that until a while ago was steadfastly deemed immutable. How can I affirm this?

Bishop Lazo's Declaration of Faith

'I am for eternal Rome, the Rome of Saints Peter and Paul. I do not follow Masonic Rome.'
Editor’s note: Bishop Salvador L. Lazo, DD was born in Santo Niño, Cagayan in the Philippines in 1918. An accomplished and high-ranking clergyman who held many prominent positions in his native land before and after Vatican II, His Excellency realized later in life the true nature of the Second Vatican Council. On Ascension Thursday in 1998, two years before his death, His Excellency issued a public statement rebuking that event. He also expressed his deep admiration for Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre. Below is Bishop Lazo’s last testament, which is taken from the SSPX’s Asia website. His Excellency spent several years getting to know the priests and bishops of the Society before his passing. We believe his declaration is a document of historical importance.

The Eighth Commandment Has a Day of Reckoning on the Island of Guam — Beyond These Stone Walls

A prayer was offered for a falsely accused priest at the London prison cell of St Thomas More, while on the Island of Guam, a former Catholic Inquisition is exposed.
June 17, 2026 by Father Gordon MacRae
Urgent Note from Father MacRae:
I wrote this post in June, 2017. It is in part about something that happened on the Island of Guam. (Yes, we are back to Guam again!) Former Archbishop Anthony Apuron was accused in 2017 of sexual abuse dating back to the 1970s when he was a young priest in Guam. Please read the post, but most importantly please read the Addendum that I have included at the end, which now casts an entirely different light on the case against Archbishop Apuron. The truth will set you free, Scripture tells us, but when all statutes of limitation are abandoned, most of us may not live long enough for truth to be told. Archbishop Apuron did!
