I would like to now more why she left and what her new work is going to be. I ask if it has anything to do with her position on Pope Benedict XVI or if she thinks with the Churches shutting down, that a career as a journalist covering the Church no longer looks like a good prospect?

I surmise that Ms. Montagna--one of the best and ever Catholic of Vaticanistas--had an editorial falling out with Mr. Westen. Mr. Westen is a Francis-Forever kind of guy (like UV here) while Ms. Montagna is wandering off the res on that point.
Fact is, we have two popes today, wearing white, living in Vatican, giving apostolic blessings (well at least the Catholic one does).
Ms. Montagna probably prefers the Catholic one. For me and my house, we choose the Catholic one: ¡Viva il Papa!

Pope Emeritus Benedict himself has discussed this and he seems to be directly replying to dudes like you. "In any case, I wear the white cassock in a visibly different way to how the Pope wears it. This is another case of completely unfounded speculations being made."
That's word for word. Notice the part where he says it's "another case of completely unfounded speculations".
Notice also (and this is the really important part) he makes a distinct reference to "the Pope" when referring to someone else.
Not "a Pope" or "Popes" in general,which might imply multiple Popes co-existing. He said the Pope. Benedict was talking about he wears his white cassock differently from that guy.. the Pope.. Benedict's own words show he understands there is only ONE Pope and he ain't it.

Benedict doesn't wear his Papal Ring anymore for two remarkably simple reasons: 1.) it was defaced 2.) he isn't the Pope.
Again, this is all old news. I've corrected every point you've raised (again) almost as often as I have with the same false accusations that I support the current Pope. I recognize Francis is Pope. Yes, Bergoglio is an apostate. There are different camps among sedevacantists though. Not all sedes think like the Dimond brothers. Some like Fr.
