The Dominican Theological Library in Washington, D.C.
On Sunday April 19, 2009, Archbishop Donald Wuerl of Washington, D.C. and Archbishop Alan Vigneron of Detroit joined Archbishop Pietro Sambi, the Papal Nuncio, in the solemn blessing of the new
Academic Center and Theological Library of the Dominican House of Studies (

Earlier that day, Archbishop Wuerl presided over a Solemn Mass in the DHS chapel. Present at the liturgy were the Master of the Dominican Order, Fr. Carlos Azpiroz Costa, O.P.; Cardinals William Keeler and Adam Maida, Archbishops Emeritus of Baltimore and Detroit; Bishop Paul Loverde of Arlington; and Bishop Basil Losten, Emeritus Bishop of the Ukrainian Catholic Eparchy of Stamford, CT.
