Cardinal Joseph Zen, 90, has been arrested in Hong Kong (May 11) by security police on charges of alleged “collusion with foreign forces,” under the terms of Hong Kong’s National Security Law (from July 2020).
The charges relate to the non-profit charity "612 Humanitarian Relief Fund" of which Zen was a trustee. The group was founded in 2019, but disbanded last year after security police ordered to disclose operational details. It helped pro-democracy protesters to pay their legal fees.
Zen was arrested along with two other trustees, former opposition lawmaker Margaret Ng and singer Denise Ho.
Scmp.com adds that the remaining trustee of the fund, Cyd Ho Sau-lan, is already in jail for her role in illegal assemblies.
His arrest pressures the Vatican to confront China’s crackdown on civil liberties in Hong Kong.
In March, Francis recorded a video message for Catholics in Hong Kong, "I wish you to be good citizens and that you are courageous in the face of the challenges of the time."

Bergoglio (aka Pope Francis) is not for the simple reasons that h has in word, actions, and appointments of people, and persecution of Catholic tradition, TLM, departed so far from Catholic Faith (even that taught by Vatican II Popes...all of whom have taught at least some error), that he doesn't even qualify as Catholic......least of all for welcoming Pachamamma into St.Peter's and revrencing it and praying before it. Also for his almost complete departure from accepted Catholic teaching on issue of LGBTQ's and Trans. They are nothing other than sodomites and perverts.

Pope francis didn't even have the decency to recieve saintly and heroic Cardinal Zen in audience when the Cardinal recently went to Rome. Moreover, Bergoglio appointed an absolute HERETIC to replace Cardinal Zen in Hong Kong, someone who supports idea of "women priests" and has said so openly.
