Me: God, can I ask You something? God: Of course. Me: Promise You won’t get mad… God: I promise. Me: Why did You let so many frustrating things happen to me today? God: What do you mean? Me: I overslept this morning. My car wouldn’t start. At lunch they gave me the wrong sandwich—and I had to wait forever for it. On the way home my phone died, and I missed an important call. God: Listen carefully… This morning the angel of death was standing near your bed. I had to send one of My angels to fight for your life. That’s why I allowed you to oversleep. I didn’t let your car start because a drunk driver was on the road you usually take, and if you had left earlier, he would have hit you. The person who made your sandwich today was sick. I didn’t want them to lose their job, because I know they cannot afford to. Your phone died because the person calling you was about to lie under oath, and I didn’t want you pulled into a situation that would have brought trouble into your life. Me: I’m …More

DAVID BARRETT: How Mahmood has managed to outrage the Left AND Right Published: 19:08 GMT, 11 March 2026 | Updated: 00:39 GMT, 12 March 2026 The Home Office has refused to disclose how many failed asylum seeker families have snapped up Shabana Mahmood’s offer of up to £40,000 to leave Britain voluntarily. A new pilot scheme unveiled last Thursday offers families with no right to be in this country lump sums of £10,000 a head for up to four people if they agree to go. The Home Office has already told 150 families they are entitled to apply for the cash. They were given a seven day deadline – which had been due to expire at midnight tonight - to accept or lose the offer forever. But a Home Office spokesman refused to reveal how many families so far had opted for the cash bonanza by 6pm this evening, with just a few hours to go before the original cut-off. 'We are not going to be giving a running commentary on the offers that have been made,' the spokesman said. The deadline for applying …
Carter’s teacher had just assigned an essay on the "Wonders of the World," and he had absolutely no idea where to start. His grandpa, Steve, walked into the room just as the boy sighed in frustration. "Grandpa, can you help me?" Carter asked immediately. "We have to write a paper on the Wonders of the World for school. We talked about it in class, and I know exactly what everyone else is going to write about—the Pyramids, the Eiffel Tower, the Colosseum, and all those huge monuments. But how am I supposed to write about those things when I've never even seen them in person? I want to write about something unique, something that’ll make my paper stand out. I want it to be the best one in the class." Grandpa Steve thought for a moment, settling into his chair, and answered in a calm, steady voice: "Look, Carter... there are so many wonders right in front of us that people just take for granted. The fact that you can see—that you can look at the trees, the colors of the sunset, the faces …More
I caught myself thinking about something really simple today. We're so obsessed with overnight transformations. We want to be better, holier, wiser—and we want it downloaded immediately. But life doesn't usually change in massive leaps; it shifts in tiny, invisible baby steps that hardly anyone notices. There’s an old story about a student who went to a wise elder and asked him point-blank: "Father, give it to me straight: what exactly do I need to do to become holy? Give me the actionable steps, not just theory." The old monk thought for a moment and replied: "Start with just one habit: every evening, hit replay on your day in front of God." The student was confused. "Just review my schedule?" "Not just review it," the elder said. "Look at it with brutal honesty. Where were you a light for someone today? Where did you cast a shadow? Who did you speak kindly to? Where did you stay quiet when someone needed a teammate? When were you close to God—and when did you live like He didn't even …More
Bishop Philip Egan of Portsmouth, England, has warned Catholics that they cannot ordinarily fulfil their Sunday obligation by attending Mass celebrated by priests of the Priestly Fraternity of St Pius X. He is one of the most conservative voices in the English hierarchy. Monsignor Egan told TheCatholicHerald.com on March 11 that recent popes reached out to members of the FSSPX: “As the Priestly Fraternity of St Pius X is in an irregular or impaired situation with the Roman Catholic Church at the moment, its priests do not have the explicit faculties from the Ordinary to celebrate the Mass,” he believes. Bishop Egan referred to Canon 1248 §1, which states that the Sunday obligation is fulfilled when a Catholic attends "a Mass celebrated anywhere in a Catholic rite.” In 2019, Bishop Egan visited St Michael’s School in Burghclere, an institution run by the FSSPX. He also has sent the FSSPX in his diocese oil from the Chrism Mass in the Novus Ordo in order to build closer bonds of communion. …More

Topline Global crude oil prices resumed their surge and crossed the $100 per barrel mark late on Wednesday night, as a global push to release 400 million barrels from strategic petroleum reserves—including a commitment by President Donald Trump to release 172 million barrels from America’s strategic reserve—failed to calm market fears about the disruption caused by the Iran war. Key Facts The global benchmark Brent Crude futures rose to $101.30 per barrel late on Monday, up more than 10% in the past day. In the past few days, the international crude index hovered around $90 per barrel after soaring to nearly $120 for the first time since 2022—as talks of a coordinated global strategic oil reserve release had briefly calmed the markets. The U.S. benchmark West Texas Intermediate also rose sharply on Monday night, …

ByMATHILDA HELLER MARCH 11, 2026 19:20 New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani's hosting of controversial anti-Israeli activist Mahmoud Khalil for an iftar represents a "deeply troubling endorsement," two Jewish New York policymakers told The Jerusalem Post. Mamdani revealed on Monday that he and his wife Rama "had the great honor of hosting Mahmoud, Noor, and their son Dean at Gracie Mansion to break the fast together." Khalil, a Syrian-born social activist and former master’s student at Columbia University, is known for his radical pro-Palestine activism. He previously said that Hamas's October 7 attacks on Israel were part of "a desperate attempt to tell the world that Palestinians are here, that Palestinians are part of the equation." The Department of Homeland Security previously said, "Mahmoud Khalil refuses to condemn Hamas because he is a terrorist sympathizer, not because DHS ‘painted’ him as one. He ‘branded’ himself as an antisemite through his own hateful behavior and rhetoric." …
The Assembly of Catholic Ordinaries of the Holy Land suspended its planned plenary meeting in Nazareth due to security concerns, holding discussions online instead. In a statement issued 10 March, the bishops said Christian communities affected by war have largely refused to respond with violence. They also mourned Maronite priest Fr. Pierre el-Rai, killed on 9 March in southern Lebanon when Israeli tank fire struck a house in the village of Al-Qlayaa, injuring four others.

Thousands gathered in southern Lebanon for the Requiem Mass of Rev. Pierre El-Rahi, a Maronite Catholic priest who was killed during Israeli shelling earlier this week. Despite evacuation warnings, the parish priest of Qlayaa had reportedly refused to leave his community. He was fatally wounded after returning to assist those injured in an artillery strike. The church was filled with mourners, clergy and local residents who came to pray for his soul.

800 million people—roughly 10% of the world's population—now require biometric identification just to receive their monthly food rations. Fingerprints or facial scans are NOW mandatory at India's fair price shops, as digital ID systems like BritCard and the EU's Digital Wallet are being rolled out to support the technocrat's goal of a fully tokenized, blockchain-tracked food supply chains.
