He addressed the FSSPX's allegations that the Vatican has deviated from the Church's magisterium. Cardinal Müller proposed preparing a response to the Fraternity that would affirm that Rome has never abandoned the path of Catholicism, contrary to their claims. He also said that, following Wednesday's episcopal consecrations, many Lefebvrists would seek to enter into full canonical communion with the Church. But salvation comes from taking up your cross and requires sacrifice of your own preferences for the sake of Christ.
