On June 25, skinny Paulist Father Chris Lawton celebrated an annual homosex Eucharist at the Stonewall National Monument in Christopher Park, New York City. Cardinal Gerhard Müller spoke at the June 26 consistory about the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X (FSSPX), IlGiornale.it reports. He addressed the FSSPX's allegations that the Vatican has deviated from the Church's magisterium. Cardinal Müller proposed preparing a response to the Fraternity that would affirm that Rome has never abandoned the path of Catholicism, contrary to their claims. He also said that, following Wednesday's episcopal consecrations, many Lefebvrists would seek to enter into full canonical communion with the Church. The Vatican should prepare to welcome them back by proposing a structure modelled on the Pontifical Commission Ecclesia Dei, which was established by Pope John Paul II in 1988. It shows that the blue passages dominate in Vatican Council II and so the text of Vatican Council II is traditional and ecclesiocentric and not liberal. Vatican Council II is liberal for Pope Leo, the Consistory of Cardinals and the bishops conferences, since they project the red passages as being explicit exceptions for the blue passages. This is irrational and creates schism with the Magisterium of the centuries. The Apostolic faith speaks to the eternal essence of God and the unchanging struggle of humans which is resolved by the timeless sacrifice on Calvary. Tucho claims that what he doesn't like in the Apostolic faith are cultural accretions. He is wrong. Lace, the mitre, and even his red zucchetto are cultural accretions. The seven deadly sins and sins which cry out to Heaven for vengeance are as fundamental to salvation as DNA is to life. This may be painful for Tucho. My heart goes out to him. But salvation comes from taking up your cross and requires sacrifice of your own preferences for the sake of Christ.

The implementation phase of the synod “will mark a new stage in the reception of the Second Vatican Council,” Cardinal Mario Grech warned the consistory on Saturday. He is a Cardinal and the Vatican's Secretary of the Synod. His lengthy speech, which was around 3,000 words long, was published on Zenit.org. Much of it was frankly repetitive, focusing on buzzwords such as listening, discernment, communion, participation, the 'exchange of gifts', implementation, and 'conversation in the Spirit'.
