Amos 3:3; “Do two people walk together, without agreeing?”: They will deceive, if posible, even the choosen: Many consecrated will break the Vows they made with God and embrace what is abominable to be “Canonically Recognized by the Pope”. 1) Matthew 24:25 “Behold, I have told you this in advance!”: 2) Judas 1:4; Certain people have crept in among you, and they are precisely those about whom you were warned in writing long ago, when they were condemned for denying all religion, turning the grace of our God into immorality, and rejecting our one Master and Lord, Jesus Christ. 3) 2 Peter 2:1–3; “Just as there were false prophets in the past history of our people, so you too will have your false teachers, who will secretly introduce destructive heresies and even deny the Lord who bought them. The University of Notre Dame's McGrath Institute for Church Life has published on July 17 a report containing twelve proposals for assessing candidates for the priesthood. Entitled, "Do You Know Them to Be Worthy?", the file was written by Father Thomas V. Berg and psychologist Timothy G. Lock. The report draws on research commissioned from the Center for Applied Research in the Apostolate (CARA) and a consultation held at Notre Dame in September 2025. The proposals concern psychological assessment, candidates with particular psychological or developmental conditions, and formation for chastity and celibacy. It addresses candidates with conditions including ADHD, obsessive-compulsive disorder and autism spectrum disorder. On homosexual attraction, the Notre Dame authors note that a pause in formation may "more often than not" lead to a decision not to advance a candidate toward ordination. The authors think the pause is needed to assess four things: - how the man understands his identity; …เพิ่มเติม
Rainbow Dance at the Altar Includes Men in Skirts: On August 15, at the Church of Our Lady of the Assumption in Torrelavega, Spain, parish priest Juan Carlos Rodríguez del Pozo introduced a “contemplative dance” in which men and women wearing large, rainbow colored skirts danced in a circle around “the table of the Eucharist.” Explaining its symbolism, he said: “We’re going to see many colors, which symbolize… diversity”. After the dance, he added: “We are a welcoming, diverse community, where nobody is superfluous, where we all (todos) feel at home, whoever/however we may be.” In the homily, Rodríguez del Pozo rejected a faithful understanding of Our Lady’s bodily Assumption: “No human being is going to ascend to heaven body and soul.”
The Safety Valve of the Holy Spirit: How Vatican II’s "Pastoral" Shield Preserved the Faith For sixty years, the Catholic faithful have been told to bow before a new deity: the elusive, shape-shifting "Spirit of Vatican II." We have been assured that the twenty-first ecumenical council was a rupture, a foundational reboot that dragged a reluctant, medieval Church into the glorious light of modern progressivism. The progressive wing of the Church has weaponized the Council's documents to construct a confusing, distorted Church on the ashes of the old. But their revolution possesses a fatal, architectural flaw. In their haste to remake the Church in the image of the secular world, the architects of this modern experiment forgot a fundamental rule of Catholic theology. By explicitly, repeatedly, and formally defining the Second Vatican Council as a strictly pastoral council, the Popes of the mid-twentieth century unwittingly revealed the ultimate proof of divine intervention. The Holy …เพิ่มเติม

The Russian Orthodox Church has revoked its June decision assigning its former foreign affairs chief to two Russian Orthodox parishes in southern Brazil. Instead, Patriarch Kirill has assigned Hilarion, 60, to the Exaltation of the Cross Monastery near Moscow. The latest reassignment comes after a series of controversies involving the once-powerful church diplomat. In May, Czech police detained Hilarion in Karlovy Vary after searching his car and finding four containers containing a white powder. Czech authorities later identified the substance as cocaine. Hilarion was released without charges after two days, while the investigation remains ongoing. He denies any involvement and says he was the victim of a provocation. Hilarion had already been removed as Metropolitan of Budapest and Hungary in 2024 after a former male assistant accused him of homosexual misconduct and financial impropriety. The allegations were accompanied by claims that Hilarion lived a lavish lifestyle and accumulated …เพิ่มเติม
"The allegations were accompanied by claims that Hilarion lived a lavish lifestyle and accumulated significant cash and property." So? Did he take a vow of poverty? Stick to the topic, which is lurid enough. Or shall we speak of the German and Austrian Latin hierarchy ... ?
The Pope’s Prayer intention for the month of September is to pray for care of water: “Lord of Life, you have given us the gift of water, source of fruitfulness, freshness, and hope. It quenches thirst, nourishes the earth, and heals wounds. We thank you because it is also a symbol of your grace and love that renews us through baptism. Today, we ask you to teach us to safeguard it with gratitude, justice, and responsibility. Forgive us for turning it into a commodity, forgetting that it is a universal gift, a right without borders, meant for all your children. We see with pain, so many brothers and sisters, who lack clean water, who walk for miles to find it, who become ill due to its scarcity. May your Spirit make us pilgrims of the essential, able to live with simplicity, denouncing waste and pollution, defending the right of every brother and sister to drink without fear and without inequality. May our care for water, be a sign of love for the Creator, and a commitment to the lives of …เพิ่มเติม
Why Mary Is the Shortest Path to Jesus: Fr. Matthias & Fr. Bernard on Graces Waiting for You "Mary is never an obstacle between us and Christ—she is the quickest, easiest, and surest route to His Sacred Heart." Father Matthias Sasko and Father Bernard Salter, FI, join CatholicTV to explain the life-changing gift of Marian consecration. What does it truly mean to give your entire life to Jesus through the hands of Mary? Stepping into the living room on This Is the Day from New Bedford, Massachusetts, Father Matthias Sasko and Father Bernard Salter of the Franciscans of the Immaculate unpack the spiritual charism of St. Maximilian Kolbe. The friars address common misconceptions about Marian devotion, showing that consecration is not Mary's or John's idea, but Christ’s direct command from the Cross: "Behold your mother." They explain what happens when we entrust ourselves to Mary as her personal "property and possession"—surrendering to her maternal authority so she can form us into the …เพิ่มเติม
