Cardinals Received a Document Opposing the Roman Rite at the Consistory - Report
Although the subject of the Mass in the Roman rite was not raised openly during the consistory on January 7-8, it was nevertheless referenced in writing.
“While the liturgy was put aside,” an anonymous cardinal told TheCatholicHerald.com that “we were given a paper at the end written by Cardinal Arthur Roche, which was pretty negative concerning the Tridentine Latin Mass.”
Cardinal Roche, Prefect of the Dicastery for Liturgy, has been one of the key figures in enforcing Pope Francis's 2021 apostolic letter Traditionis custodes, which restricts the celebration of the Mass.

Hello to Burke, Ganswein, Mueller, Michael Matt and all those who misguided and deceived traditional Catholics about Bergoglios disciple Prevost. Where are you now?
“While the liturgy was put aside,” an anonymous cardinal told TheCatholicHerald.com, “we were given a paper at the end written by Cardinal Arthur Roche, which was pretty negative concerning the Tridentine Latin Mass.”
Hardly surprising. The topic was "too hot to handle" since it was an actual real issue facing the Church. Better to discuss lofty nebulous concepts like "synodality"
Point taken @Wilma Lopez. Apparently the Roman Rite is not 'liturgy'?! Nothing speaks more to the shoddy state of any organization's leadership as when its leaders (you know, in this instance, the cardinals who wear red as a symbol that they would die for the Faith(!)) feel compelled to remain 'anonymous'.
Deo gratias! Understanding that there's no way the Mass of the ages could ever be changed is how I finally came to realize these clerical imposters are NOT legitimate. It gets more clear by the day!
This report would be more convincing if the alleged paper could be shown. Was the "anonymous cardinal" not willing to provide a copy of the paper?
