UK against Digital ID Case Update – Judicial Review Renewal Hearing Listed (29 April 2026) I want to share an important update on my judicial review challenge and explain why the next stage remains significant. The Court has now listed my renewal hearing for 29 April 2026. This is the hearing at which I will ask a judge to reconsider the earlier refusal of permission and allow the claim to proceed. At this stage, the Court is not determining the final outcome. The issue is whether the claim is arguable and merits full judicial scrutiny. Since this case began, the Government has stepped back from explicitly describing digital identity as “mandatory” in the way it was previously presented.
