Trotto-Dance Music of the Jongleurs in Medieval Italy (15C)
Clara Song, a Korean musician with her student played a piece of medieval dance music of jongleurs (15C Italy) who were wandering minstrels in medieval Europe.
The place of the performance was the Catholic Church of Jungrim-dong, Seoul Archdiocese. The Church used to be called "Yak-Hyeon" Church and established as the second parish after Myeong-dong on Nov. 9, 1891. This Church was built on the hill where people can have a better view over Seosomun, a place of martyrdom in Seoul. The Church finished its construction in 1895 and still retain its traditional architecture.

Ephatah Choir sang at a Church music concert held at Myeongdong Cathedral, Seoul Archdiocese on Nov. 2, 2009.
All the 17 choir members have sight disabilities. So they practice their parts by listening to audio files and memorizing them.
The music director does not conduct the choir but he sings with the choir. The choir members range from teenagers to the sixties.
One of the music sung at the concert was "O Nata Lux", a modern motet.

Gregorian Chant Practice with Fr. Choi.
Concentus Gregorianus de Seoul is practicing Gregorian Chant with Fr. Choi Hoyoung, Seoul Archdiocese in 2009. Fr. Choi studied organ and Gregorian Chant in Regensburg and Munich, Germany. He is currently a professor at the Music department of Catholic University in Bucheon, South Korea. He has occasionaly offered Gregorain Chant Novus Ordo Mass in Latin.
While the Gregorian Chant Masses in Latin are not frequent occasions in the Catholic Church in Korea, interest in Gregorian chant and polyphony has continuously increased. And more Gregorian Chant scholas began to be organized. Concentus Gregorianus de Seoul is a men's chant schola.
